My passion for travel began in 2016 when I won a competition to study in high school in the U.S. That experience turned me into a global citizen with a goal to connect cultures and inspired me to showcase Kazakhstan to the world.

After working in the local tourism industry, I saw how unreliable the experience could be for foreign travelers—many companies operated on a gig-based system with no real vetting, training, or quality control.

That’s why I created Astana Horizons—to deliver world-class, bespoke tours with a team of trusted professionals and ensure that every traveler experiences Kazakhstan at its best.

Traveling with Astana Horizons on a private two-day city tour of Astana and a day trip to Karaganda was a fascinating experience. Touring around Astana allowed me to see its modern architecture and museums, while the tour to Karaganda and KarLag was like a journey in a time machine into a world of Soviet architecture, history, and horrors. This is a must-do day trip from Astana. The company also provided personal airport transfers, making my entire experience comfortable and well-organized.

We had an amazing experience with Astana Horizons, from the moment we arrived in Astana. After being picked up from the airport, we had a great half-day city tour of Astana on the same day.

The highlight of our trip was Burabay, one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited on this incredible planet! An oasis in the northern steppes, its lakes and mysterious rock formations feel like a setting straight out of a mystery movie, must-see for nature and adventure lovers.
