The trip from Astana takes you through the open steppe, where the landscape gradually shifts to lakes and forests. We’ll begin with a lakeside walk, followed by a relatively easy and accessible hike up Bolektau Peak, which rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, lakes, and pine forests painted in seasonal colors.
Next, we’ll stop at Abylay Khan Meadow, a historic site named after the Kazakh ruler who united the nation in the 18th century. Here, you’ll witness trained eagles and archery demonstrations that bring Kazakh nomadic traditions to life.

Lunch is a cozy stop with scenic mountain views and authentic local cuisine. Vegetarian options available.
In the afternoon, choose one (or both) of the following:
• A boat ride on Lake Burabay, offering stunning views of Blue Bay and an up-close visit to Zhumabatkas Rock.
• A horseback ride through the forest - an easy, beginner-friendly way to connect with nature and Kazakh heritage.
